chinese new yr

cny is coming and only a week time lo! that fast wasn't it? (we can capture our future with our hands except TIME) =_+

have u guys prepare everything for cny? have u done ur spring cleaning at home? bought ur new clothes? decorate e house with new yr atmosphere? been to chinatown already? have u cut ur hair?

for my dearest LILI & JANE...hope u 2 girls enjoy CNY over at e other side of e world..although we are not in e same country, we are actually enjoyine same festive!
to lili: i believed u can take good care of urself while roaming cos u had always been a strong & independent girl whom i know from e start. however still, u r at a foreign land, muz "diversify" ur money keeping juz in case. Hope u can conquer e whole europe as per ur dreams! Enjoy ur trip n rem to get sumthing for me! haha.. XD

to jane: Hope u coping well over der..lucky u still hab roomates tt r chinese too..maybe u guys can organise cny party? dun sad or regret over coming to Cananda..! since u r der, muz explore n enjoy e fun experience..(u sad oso hab to pass a day..y torture urself? stay happy n enjoy e day ya!)

bought my clothes..but clothes is nv enuff de! haha..so maybe if happen to passby any nice tops..u noe wat shall i do? haha.. friday goin down for haircut..b surprise for my new hairdo..(either short/shoulder length hair) xDD

for those ppl haven go trim hair..muz go! cos is a tradition..good begining for new year? hee

sunday will b goin to chinatown to buy cny goods...my house is like NOTHING! haven even buy anything cos they r busy doin pineapple tarts ..-_-

Do u noe how china celebrate CNY? many of u muz b thinking...they muz b v traditional as compare to us. China ma..all e chinese der..shld v respect this special festive!

well well well...wrong! my colleague came back from shanghai (lucky 4 her cos she 1 day earlier came back b4 e snow starts so badly)....n ya she told us..ppl in shanghai dun hab such a custom as s'pore..weird rite? they dun hav hongbaos, nian gao n all e stuff related to CNY...

they only eat tang yuan n ba bao fan...n shanghai ppl tell her that wat s'pore is doing is actually e COUNTRYSIDE ppl r doing!!!!!!!! Infact countryside ppl are gettin commericalize...even "modern" than us..

amazing, our perception towards china is wrong! they r gettin more "modern" and traditions/custom are gradually eliminated!
